Beyond Wow Video Services, LLC. is owned & operated in the Greater Kansas City area by Steve Lamas & Joy Lamas. Their Kansas City North video business specializes in professional video production & post production, striving to produce creative projects that exceed their clients’ expectations while maintaining budget constraints. Corporate clients range from organizations to large industries. They provide Event Videography and Post-Production Services. On the consumer level, they preserve family history with the transfer of family film (Super 8mm, 8mm & 16mm) or videotapes to DVD. Beyond Wow Video also creates scholarship videos and family history videos and photos to DVD. Perfect gifts for graduations, weddings, anniversaries, family reunions and birthday events!

A great honor was awarded to Beyond Wow Video Services recently, when they received the Gladstone Chamber of Commerce's '2008 Business of the Year' award. Currently the Chamber has approximately 350 businesses that are members.

Steve offers an extensive background in videography and photography with a degree from the University of Kansas in Graphic Design, plus additional courses in Interactive Multimedia. He is also a retiered veteran and understands the concept of having a "job well done". Joy’s background in sales/advertising/marketing, coupled with her education from the U. of N.Y. @ New Paltz, are visible in the overall creation of every project and the personal concern that is extended to each & every client. Members of the Association of Video Professionals (AVP), a nationwide network of professional video studio owners, Beyond Wow Video received two National Video Awards in 2006 and were nominated for additional National Awards in 2005 & 2006. Joy is currently serving on AVP's Board of Directors & in 2009 will also serve on the Clay County Women's Exchange Board of Directors.

Continuing their education is essential in this industry which is why both Steve & Joy continue to take software training classes twice each year, working with the latest in software and equipment technology. The studio’s current editing software is Final Cut Pro. This software allows for maximum flexibility in editing and DVD authoring, allowing them to produce Hollywood style videos & DVDs, without the Hollywood prices. DVCAM, Mini-DV, Betamax, VHS or Hi 8 editing or transfer to DVD. Need video formatted for your website, UTube or IPod? They can do that too!

Photoshop, Illustrator, Final Cut Pro and Live Type. Apple Motion, Soundtrack Pro and DVD Studio Pro are just a few of the professional applications they use - many of the same high-tech applications used by major studios in Hollywood productions.
